• 1.4 Methods of Cooking: Food preparation techniques (cutting, mixing) and cooking methods: boiling, stewing, steaming, frying (shallow/deep), roasting, baking.

• 1.5 Nutritive Value of Foods: Classification of nutrients, understanding fortification, identifying deficiencies, and planning meals using local foods.

2.0 Home Management

• 2.1 Hygiene During Puberty: Discussing physical and emotional changes; managing menstrual hygiene.

• 2.2 Safety in the Home: Identifying causes of accidents, contents of a First Aid kit, and simulating first aid procedures for burns, scalds, cuts, bruises, fractures, sprains, fainting, and choking.
